Ketchup

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces of tomato paste
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 5 tsp. xylitol
  • 2/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. sea salt or crushed Himalayan salt
  • A pinch of ground cloves
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

How to make:

Mix all ingredients all together well. Refrigerate for minimum 1 hour before use. Store in refrigerator and will keep for a week.

Makes: 1 1/2 cups (24 servings)     Serving Size: 1 Tbsp.     Calories: 8   

Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of our homemade Ketchup (listed above)
  • 1 tbsp. horseradish
  • ¾ tsp. lemon juice

How to make:

Mix well in bowl and chill. Store in refrigerator and is good for up to 1 week.

BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 ounces of tomato paste
  • 12 ounces of stevia root beer pop (super store)
  • ¼ cup of xylitol
  • 3 tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tbsp. Worcester sauce
  • A pinch of ground cloves
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. Liquid Smoke
  • Hot sauce to taste

How to make:

In a med- high skillet warm olive oil and add in onions. Cook until soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add in all other ingredients, plus ½ a cup of water. Stir well and let simmer for 20-30 minutes. It will cook down and thicken. Taste and add whatever you wish to taste.

Mayonnaise

Ingredients:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. powdered mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. xylitol
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 4-5 tsp. lemon juice or you could use white vinegar
  • 1 ½ cups of olive oil
  • 4 tsp. hot water

How to make:

Beat egg yolks, salt, mustard, xylitol, pepper and I tsp. lemon juice in a small bowl until very thick. Medium speed is efficient on your mixers speed. Add about ¼ cup of olive oil, drop by drop, beating vigorously at all times. Beat in 1 tsp. each lemon juice and hot water. Add another ¼ cup of olive oil, a few drops at a time; keep steady with the vigorously beating while mixing together. Then mix in remaining lemon juice and water; slowly beat in remaining oil. Cover and refrigerate until needed. Good for up to one week.

Ranch Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1 cup 2 %( Dairy Land) cottage cheese
  • 1 pack of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
  • 1 tbsp. White vinegar or lemon juice

Place all ingredients into food processer or blender. Blend until smooth and add to taste salt and pepper.   

Makes: 2 cups    Serving Size: 2 Tbsp.      Calories: 26

Caesar Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of 2 %( Astro Original) yogurt
  • 1/3 cup 2 %( Dairy Land) cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tsp. white wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-2 cloves of crushed garlic (your choice)  
  • Pinch of sea salt to taste
  • Pinch of pepper to taste.

How to make:

Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl and serve over lettuce.

Chocolate dipping sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder

Stevia to sweeten (Dutch chocolate flavour, toffee, vanilla, caramel/ liquid or powder form)

Heat coconut oil to melt down. Add in cocoa powder and stevia. Stir over heat till mixed well and then remove from heat. Dip different kinds of nuts, or fruit and let cool on wax paper keeping it stored in fridge. Enjoy!
