The HCG Diet never ends; it is a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle. In order to keep this new weight and these healthy choices you must be diligent, and hard working. Without such a future commitment and plan, the benefit achieved on the HCG DIET will be slowly eroded over time and the body will return to its previous state of obesity.
The HCG DIET will take off the weight, reset your metabolism and give you a second chance. However, it is certainly not a cure-all for a lifetime. You can’t return to bad eating habits that created the problem in the first place and expect the HCG DIET to protect you from gaining back the weight and falling back into old habits.
Phase 4 requires you to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and avoid overindulging. After you have completed the HCG DIET PROTOCOL, you will be so happy and motivated to continue with your new healthy lifestyle that the old you will be gone FOREVER! You will have a whole new outlook on life…..healthy living and healthy you! This is when you would decide whether or not to start another round and set up a consultation after your 21 days of phase 4 is finished.
Phase 4 is when we start to re-introduce sugars, starches and carbs. The same rule applies for this phase as with Phase 3 with adding in one new food each day; make it a small serving and watching for a jump in weight or any allergy symptoms. Try to only eat sugars, carbs and starches before 2pm. We burn all our calories during the day not so much in the evening.
Many commercial types of bread appear to be “whole grain” but in fact are simply processed “wheat” colored brown by molasses so they appear to be “whole grain”. If the “whole” grain is listed as the second grain (like after “wheat flour”), the whole grain can actually be a tiny fraction of the overall ingredients in the product, so buyer beware!
Try to include protein and carbs throughout your day both at meals and for snacks. Eating meals and snacks that combine proteins and carbs will slow down the digestion of the carbs to
about two hours. This means you will feel full longer and your glucose levels will be more
consistent than if you eat a meal or snack with just carbs OR protein. Because the energy from
your meal is released slower and longer, your metabolism will be more efficient. You did all that work on the HCG diet to increase your metabolism, so your job is to keep it running at peak
performance! Also, when carbs accompany protein, the carbs will be used for energy, but the proteins, which take longer to digest, will be used for their intended primary function: building and repairing muscle tissue. This makes for a happy body!
When picking snacks, be sure to pay more attention to the amount of sugar in them rather than the amount of fat.

An increase in physical activity is an important component of weight loss, weight maintenance, body health and a stress relief. Exercise does not have to be strenuous or something you need to spend countless hours doing daily. By adding in 30-45 minutes a day of walking, light jogging or even bike riding can be beneficial and aid in burning calories. Weight training every second day will help your skeletal system and keep your body burning calories even with day to day activities. Not to mention toning your muscles and tightening your skin.
Once you have finished Phase 3 & 4 (6 weeks since your last day of injection from your 1st round) you may start a second round. Then if you want to do a 3rd, 4th or even 5th round, the amount of time between rounds should get progressively longer.
How Long Between Round of HCG DIET
The reason for these waits between rounds is for your own benefit. If proper time is not allotted between rounds our bodies can get use to the HCG and become immune to it. This would result in poor weight loss and possibly none at all. Losing the weight is the easy part; we need to learn how to maintain our weight in between. This will ensure we have changed our old eating habits and keep you from ever gaining the weight back. Our body also need to process the excessive fat loss and filter out all the impurities.
